Congress accepted defeat even before the elections: Anurag Thakur
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, while responding to the statements of Congressmen in Himachal Pradesh today, said that Congress does not have the habit of reading and writing from the top leadership to the bottom, that is why they do not care about the development and growth of BJP. Our corruption is not visible. We have sanctioned 20 thousand rural houses in just one year. ₹1762 crore was immediately given at the time of disaster. We also gave separate money in MNREGA, but even while distributing tarpaulin, Congress divided monkeys to see who was from Congress and who was from BJP. Congress leaders also gave priority to nepotism in tarpaulin distribution. He himself did nothing for the disaster victims and could not even utilize the help received from the Centre.
Shri Anurag Thakur today first went to the conference of Panna Pramukhs of Una and Haroli Mandal and then attended a local conference in Dhusada.
Shri Anurag Thakur further said that today the Congress Party has accepted defeat even before the election results, hence sometimes they are blaming EVMs, sometimes the Election Commission and sometimes something else. Congress has moved beyond lies, fear and corruption and is now using deep fakes. The condition of Congress’s anti-national policies is such that today they are getting support not from India but from Pakistan. Foreign powers are pinning their hopes on Congress but the Indian people will never leave the country in the hands of Congress. This is the same Congress which indulges in corruption even in military purchases. This is the same Congress which wants to weaken the army. This is the same Congress which questions the valor of the Army and does not take any action against Pakistan even after the arrest of a terrorist like Kasab.”
Shri Anurag Thakur said that even before the disaster, during the Covid period, I had provided oxygen concentrators, cylinders, PPE kits, masks and essential medicines not only to Hamirpur parliamentary constituency but to the entire Himachal Pradesh. Our culture is not to do politics in disasters but Congress people start stooping lower during disasters.
Shri Anurag Thakur further said that Hamirpur parliamentary constituency has received such big projects which no one could have even imagined earlier. Who knew that after AIIMS hospital worth Rs 1762 crore, we would also get a PGI hospital worth Rs 500 crore approved for our Una. But we have made all this possible under the leadership of Modi ji. Today our parliamentary constituency is going to become a hub of medical tourism. With this, means of employment and self-employment will be available here. Similarly, today we have all the big educational institutions here and now we are going to build the state’s first synthetic hockey field in Una itself. Today we have extended the railway line to Daulatpur Chowk and also electrified it.”
Shri Anurag Thakur said, “When I was the MP from here in the Congress government, I used to fight and bring projects here, even then the Congress government of that time did not implement them. But in Modi ji’s government, I also brought projects and Jairam It was also implemented in the government of Shri Atal ji. Similarly, if 7 lakh people are employed in the industries of Himachal, then this industrial package was possible in the government of respected Shri Atal Bihari ji. And it was received in 2002 during Dhumal ji’s government. Since then, it has been received in the form of bulk drug park and medical device park. This will provide employment to 30,000 more people.
