BJP is running away from issues, Rahul, Priyanka and Kharge will come soon to Himachal: Sukhu

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, while talking to journalists in Nadaun, said that Union Minister Anurag Thakur has been only singing the praises of the railway line for ten years. Till date he has not been able to get approval for the line from the Central Government, nor has any survey been done. The Congress government never said anything about giving budget for the railway line. He himself announced the railway line, but now he is blaming the Congress government. He tried to mislead people in the name of Railways and kept inserting only Rs 1000 in the budget every year. Now people are not going to vote in the name of railway line, Anurag should tell the public why he kept cheating for ten years.

The Chief Minister said that more young people from Kangra, Hamirpur and Mandi parliamentary constituencies go to serve the country and the question arises as to why the interest of young people in serving the country has decreased. Why BJP brought Agniveer Yojana, why are the youth getting four years job in the army. Certainly BJP is shining its politics by running away from the issues. They should answer to the youth as to why they played with their future.

Chief Minister Sukhu said that BJP has always been trying to divert attention in elections. I have brought Medical College to Hamirpur and approved for Cancer Hospital Hamirpur. The Congress government has done commendable work in providing relief to the people during the disaster. Employees were given old pension. The Congress government has also fulfilled the guarantee of giving ₹1500 to women, but the BJP is pressurizing the Election Commission to stop this scheme. BJP can exert as much pressure as it wants, but after the elections, 2 months’ installment will be released to the women.

The Chief Minister said that national leaders of Congress will soon come to Himachal and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, National President Mallikarjun Kharge will visit along with MP Rahul Gandhi. He said that BJP wants to grab the seat of power and has made a deal with the public sentiments by buying 6 MLAs. Giving tickets to sold MLAs proves that BJP has made an attempt to topple the government, to which the public will respond on June 1st. Congress will win on all four Lok Sabha seats and will also win in the by-elections of six assembly constituencies.
