BJP is scared of Congress’s manifesto: Sanjay Awasthi

State Congress Working President Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi has accused Union Minister Anurag Thakur of trying to mislead people by making baseless allegations against Congress. He has said that the manifesto of Congress is for justice against the injustice happening in the country.

Sanjay Awasthi has said that Congress never imposed any illegal tax on the people nor grabbed anyone’s property. He has said that the right to any private property belongs only to its owner and his dependents.

Awasthi has said that the BJP is scared of Congress’s manifesto. He said that there is no mention in the Congress manifesto that after coming to power, the government will have authority over people’s property. He said that the BJP is running away from the issues and is trying to mislead the people of the country by making meaningless statements. He has asked the BJP to tell the people how many unemployed people got employment during their 10-year tenure, whereas they promised that 2 crore people would be provided employment every year. He said that why the price of an LPG gas cylinder which was available for Rs 450 at the time of UPA, is now available for above Rs 1000, was not reduced. He said that today the country is struggling with rising inflation. Farmers are demanding support prices for their crops but they are not being listened to. No loans of farmers were waived off, while loans worth crores of rupees of some close to BJP were waived off. Today the country is troubled by the anti-people policies and decisions of BJP. BJP should answer all these questions to the people of the country in these elections and not make baseless allegations on Congress of selling things like Mangalsutra or property.
