BJP has been in power for ten years, give account of its work to the public: Naresh Chauhan
State Vice President of Congress Naresh Chauhan attacked BJP and said that BJP has been in power in the country for ten years. The Prime Minister is Narendra Modi, who should give an account to the public of the work of his government in the last ten years. Chauhan said that the public should be given an account of how much the BJP has fulfilled the promises it made to the public in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the dreams it showed. Today, after ten years, when we are going to the public again, we should tell how many promises the BJP has fulfilled as per the manifesto.
Naresh Chauhan said that all the promises of the BJP have proved to be mere phrases. For votes, the national leaders of BJP said that after the formation of the government, Rs 15 lakh will come into the account of every person, when they came to power, they started saying that this was an election slogan. Similarly, BJP has done the work of cheating the youth. At the time of the elections, it was promised that 2 crore youth would be given employment every year. According to the promise of BJP, 20 crore youth of the country should have got employment in ten years, which was not provided. Due to this now no BJP leader talks about employing the youth. BJP had made promises like doubling the income of farmers, developing, and building smart cities, reducing inflation, etc., which were not fulfilled.
Now BJP leaders are trying their best to ensure that the Lok Sabha elections do not come on the real issues of the people. Due to this they are trying to scare the public by diverting the issues. Naresh Chauhan said that BJP leaders should present the report work of their ten years of government before the public. BJP leaders are not able to tell what work has been done in ten years, because for ten years the government has been running only through statements. Chauhan asked the BJP leaders to tell how many youths have got employment in ten years, how much inflation has reduced, where development has taken place, how much the income of farmers and gardeners has increased.
Naresh Chauhan said that Congress has talked about justice for women, youth and farmers in its manifesto. The issues of the country are unemployment, inflation, and land issues to increase the income of farmers. Congress has guaranteed that if the government is formed, it will make a law to give MSP as per the Swaminathan Committee. When farmers took to the streets with their demands, the BJP government crushed and betrayed the farmers’ movement. To which farmers will answer in the elections.
Congress State Vice President said that BJP does not have the right to ask questions, it is time to answer. Congress is in opposition in the country and Congress has the right to ask questions. Congress said in its manifesto that 30 lakh posts are vacant in the central government, they will be filled. Women have been guaranteed that Rs 1 lakh will be given to economically weaker women. The Congress manifesto talks about providing relief to every section of the society. Due to this BJP leaders are getting worried and instead of talking about their achievements, they are talking about the Congress manifesto. BJP has betrayed the people and the people of the country are feeling cheated. The public is ready to teach BJP a lesson in these elections.
