Two migrant labourers die in a landslide
Two migrant labourers including a woman died in a heavy landslide at village Shol today, a police officer informed.
Superintendent of Police Shimla Sanjay Gandhi said that a migrant labourer ( Husband and wife) had been buried in a heavy landslide at Village Shol (Baldiyan) and dead bodies were recovered.
Deceased identified as Jhalu(28) Oraon S/o Sh.Rangha and Raj Kumari Devi(21) W/o Sh Jhalu residents of Oraon Vill.Kairagani P.O.Tabela Tehsil.Chainpur Distt.Gumla Jharkhand. Two were working as labourers on the Construction site of the Contractor.
To date, 55 people died in the Shimla District due landslides or Natural Calamity. 60 were injured 7 are still missing out of these 3 at Shivbawadi & 4 under Police Subdivision Rampur.
