Jairam met Nadda and discussed the Himachal political landscape
Senior BJP leader, former Chief Minister, and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur met BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda during his visit to Delhi.
During this, there was a detailed discussion between Jairam Thakur and Jagat Prakash Nadda regarding the current political situation in Himachal Pradesh, and a detailed discussion was held between the two leaders on many organizational issues.
Both the leaders also discussed how the BJP is going to prepare its road soon to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP is moving ahead with the target of 2024 and BJP is thinking deeply about how to make the party strong on the ground and win all four seats.
At present BJP’s former state president, Suresh Kashyap won the election as MP from Shimla parliamentary constituency, similarly, senior BJP leader Kishan Kapoor from Kangra and Union Minister Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur are serving as MPs in their respective constituencies.
When the 2019 Lok Sabha elections were held in Himachal Pradesh, the BJP had won a thumping majority in Himachal Pradesh, then the BJP had an edge in all the 68 assembly constituencies. In Kangra, the BJP won with a margin of 477623, Mandi 405559, Hamirpur 399572 and Shimla 327515.
