HRTC tire godown & two shops were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire near Dhali
Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation tire godown was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out near Dhali on the outskirt of Shimla capital town near Daut Restaurant on Friday rendering a loss of lakhs of rupees as in the incident three houses and two shops and an HRTC godown reduce to ash.
The state Disaster Management Authority spokesperson said that a fire broke out today ( 0000hrs) in a wooden building owned by the trio siblings Narendra Singh, Hitender Singh, and Devender Singh all sons of Durga Singh. In the incident, two shops, one house, and an HRTC godown were damaged due to excessive fire. The inferno rose in the sky at midnight due to flammable and smoky tires.
The district administration confirmed that a loss tune to Rs one Crore to the property was estimated. The owner of the two shops is identified as Deep Ram and Jagdish son of Shaukhiya Ram. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
