Kangra airport ranked second in national customer satisfaction survey

Kangra Airport has soared to the second spot in a customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Airports Authority of India for January to June 2024, showcasing a notable improvement from last year’s ranking. This success underscores the airport’s commitment to enhancing passenger experiences.

Among 61 airports across the country, Kangra Airport ranked just behind Rajahmundry Airport in Andhra Pradesh. The Airports Authority of India released the survey results on Wednesday evening, highlighting other top performers such as Leh Airport in third place and Madurai Airport in fourth.

Kangra Airport’s impressive jump from 11th place in the January to June 2023 survey to second place this year demonstrates a significant boost in customer service. Airport Director Dhirendra Singh reaffirmed the airport’s dedication to maintaining and improving the quality of service for travelers.

The bi-annual customer satisfaction survey collects feedback from passengers on various aspects, including parking facilities, availability of baggage trolleys, staff behavior, cleanliness, dining options, flight information displays, terminal walking distances, and overall ambiance. This valuable feedback helps airports like Kangra continuously enhance their services to better meet passenger needs.
