Medicine sellers should provide medicines to patients only on the basis of doctor’s consultation : SDM

 In the context of keeping children away from the consumption of drugs and psychoactive substances and keeping a close watch on those selling drugs, a meeting was organized in the auditorium of the Sub Divisional Magistrate’s office on Friday under the chairmanship of SDM Rajgarh Raj Kumar Thakur.
A detailed discussion was held regarding the sale of drugs and psychotropic substances with the officials of the concerned departments, trade association members and local drug sellers present in the meeting. The SDM urged the medicine sellers to keep complete records of the purchase and sale of any intoxicant and intoxicants and to make the medicines available to the patients only on the basis of doctor’s consultation. He said that if any child or person comes to take medicine without consulting a doctor, then immediately inform the local police and administration so that legal action can be taken against them.
On this occasion, Secretary Nagar Panchayat Rajgarh Abhinav Sharma, Child Development Project Officer Pawan Kumar, SI Amar Dutta, President Vyapar Mandal Rajgarh Hari Om Kheda, Block Coordinator MK Kaushal and local medicine sellers were present.
