Sports competition of under-19 students started in Janedghat
Under-19 student of Mashombara block. The class sports competition started on Friday at Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat. In this three-day sports competition, 307 students and 35 physical teachers from 19 senior secondary and high schools of Mashobra block as well as private schools are participating. During this period, apart from volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, yoga, cultural programs, and competitions will be organized.
The sports competition was inaugurated by Chatar Singh Dhiman, Deputy Head of Janedghat Panchayat. While Pradhan Swaroop Thakur was present as a special guest in the program. On this occasion, an attractive march past was presented by the players.
Principal of the local school, Dr. Sohan Ranta welcomed the chief guest along with the players and teachers from different areas. He called upon the children to play the game in the spirit of the game. Told that while sports help in the physical, mental, and intellectual development of children, it also inculcate a sense of discipline, hard work, and competition in children, which proves useful in achieving the life goals of children.
In the program, SMC President Mahesh Dutt, social worker Hetram Dhiman, Mandeep Mehta, Dinesh Sharma, Virendra Pratap, sports in-charge Rajendra Verma, assistant sports in-charge Surendra Verma, Gopal Sharma, besides school vice principal Anil Sharma, Kapil Dev, Aarti Puri, Renu Kumari, Bhushan Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Ravindra Shastri, Yashwant Singh, Rajendra Kumar, Vandana Chauhan, Babita, Sapna, Dharam Chand and Uma and other teachers and non-teachers were present. He told that sports competitions will be concluded on 17th September.
