Mahila Congress in Himachal celebrated foundation day

 State Mahila Congress hoisted the flag of Mahila Congress at the state Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan here today on its foundation day. During this, he also took the oath to strengthen the organization along with the national anthem.
State Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel, while congratulating all the women associated with the organization on their Foundation Day, said that former Prime Minister of the country Late Indira Gandhi had ensured the participation of women in the party by establishing the Mahila Congress. He said that after this, Mahila Congress will always be indebted to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Rajiv Gandhi for increasing the respect and honor of women by giving them 33 percent reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions.
Zainab Chandel said that due to the efforts of the Congress Party, today the reservation in local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions has become 50 percent, for which all women deserve congratulations. Praising the remarkable contribution of women in the society, he said that today women are progressing in every field. He said that the remarkable work done by Congress for the upliftment of women is the result of the fact that today women are ahead of men at home as well as in society and other important works.
