Congress government is hitting the state with inflation: Bragta

Chetan Bragta said that Congress, which came to power after promising to remove inflation, increased the price of diesel by Rs 3 per liter. After three months, it was again increased by Rs 3.50 per litre. Because of this, the public is being hit by heavy rains as well as the Congress government.

He said that in the last 8 months, the prices of edible oils have increased twice in ration depots. The increase in the price of pulses by Rs 16 per kg in the depots is a fraud on the people of the state. Due to heavy rains, the poor people are equally troubled, on top of that the state government has given a double whammy to the public by increasing the rates of pulses and diesel. He said that the people of the state are troubled by this functioning of the state government.

Chetan Bragta said that the state government is constantly creating difficulties in the lives of the people of Himachal Pradesh by putting extra burden on them whereas the other and central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to reduce the burden of the people of the country. Recently, the prices of domestic gas cylinders have been cut by ₹ 200 by the central government. Due to which the price of domestic gas cylinder has now come down to Rs 903 in Delhi, which was earlier Rs 1103. In such a situation, a deduction of Rs 200 has been made in Himachal Pradesh as well and women who have gas cylinders of Ujjwala Yojana. Now they will have to pay Rs 400 less to fill the cylinder. Due to which those who take cylinders under Ujjwala scheme will get double benefit. The decision taken by the Modi government to cut the prices of LPG cylinders by Rs.200. This will benefit about 30 crore customers, while 75 lakh women will also be given new connections under Ujjwala.
