Information about digital banking given to people in Junga
With a view to giving information about schemes related to banking services to the people, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank organized a Digital Financial Literacy Camp at Junga on Thursday in which about 50 people from the area participated.
On this occasion, branch manager Vishal Sharma gave information about digital banking and cashless transactions to the people. He urged the people not to share the secret PIN and OTP of their ATM with any other people and beware of fake calls so that no anti-social mischievous elements can do any transaction from their account. He informed people about the process of doing secure transactions in the fast-growing trend of online banking systems.
In the camp, people were given information about social security schemes like PMEGP, MMSY, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Him Swarojgar Credit Card, PMJJY, PMSBI, Atal Pashan Yojana etc. Apart from the use of debit cards, he also made people aware of Himpaisa, the mobile app of the State Cooperative Bank. He said that the Himpaisa app is very safe and the fastest means of money transactions. Apart from this, people were encouraged to open bank accounts. Local people including Manoj, Tarun, Prem Kumar, Puran Chand, Nekram, Kapoor Dogra, bank employees Pankaj Kumar and Kamal Nikshor participated in the camp.
