Industry flourished in Himachal due to BJP’s policies: Anurag Thakur

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh had received a special industrial package on December 1, 2002, during the double engine government of respected Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and respected Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal ji. The reason is that today thousands of industries have been set up in Baddi and Nalagarh of Himachal and lakhs of people have got employment. Medical Device Park and Bulk Drug Park are also the contributions of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The rail and road development that has taken place in Himachal today has also been done by the Bharatiya Janata Party. But one thing is that the state government has to acquire land for development works. Without land acquisition, development work cannot be done on time. But one thing is clear the development of Himachal has been done by the Bharatiya Janata Party, and in the future also the Bharatiya Janata Party will do it.

Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said these things in a huge public meeting in Nalagarh.

Shri Anurag Thakur said “When Bhupendra Singh Hooda was in power in Haryana, he had clearly said that we will not build the road connecting to Himachal. This makes it clear that along with policy and intention, a double-engine BJP government is very important for development. Today we are fighting the Lok Sabha elections based on our track record of development, while Congress has entered the elections by spreading fear and confusion. The condition of their alliance is such that everyone has lost trust in each other and everyone is playing their tune.

Shri Anurag Thakur said, “Thousands of youth of our Hamirpur parliamentary constituency are employed in the industries in Baddi Nalagarh and its adjoining industrial belt. Today I got the opportunity to invite all my brothers and sisters here to participate in the great festival of democracy. It is heartening to see the excitement and enthusiasm among all the young friends for the opportunity to exercise their franchise on 1st June. I have full confidence that all my colleagues will vote in large numbers to make my brother, my son Anurag Thakur an MP again and make Modi ji the Prime Minister of the country again. Like in 2014 and 2019, this time again BJP will get all four seats of Himachal and Modi ji will become the Prime Minister of the country with more than 400 seats.

Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said that Congress has always been anti-ST, SC and OBC. They have snatched away the reservation from our SC-ST and OBC brothers and sisters and given it to Muslims. Congress should clarify whether it is going to snatch away the status of SC, ST, and OBC in its governments. In the survey that Congress talks about, will women’s wealth also be snatched away? Will you take the land also? Will they give an affidavit on all these things?”
