Himachal Chief Minister & Congress Chief hails party victory in Karnataka Assembly poll

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and party state president Pratibha Singh greeted the people and party workers and leader of Karnataka for winning the Assembly election the two said in a separate message issued to media this afternoon.

Mr Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in a video message to the people of Karnataka that they have rejected the BJP government which came into power through a back door channel by creating a faction in the Congress four years ago. Mr. Sukhu also greeted the Party leader Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi for getting major success in the election. He said that during his election campaign in Karnataka, it was evident that the party would be elected to power. Chief Minister hoped that initial trends of Karnataka’s counting of votes show that the party is going to a stable government in the state.

Congress President MP Pratibha Singh also expressed happiness over the grand victory of Congress in Karnataka and congratulated all the leaders including Congress national leadership Malik Karjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi.  

Expressing his gratitude to the voters of Karnataka, she said that with the morale of the party workers, now the Congress will hoist its victory flag in other states of the country as well.  Pratibha Singh, reacting to the Karnataka assembly results, stated that people have completely rejected BJP’s politics of polarization. 

After Himachal Pradesh, the resounding victory of the Congress in Karnataka has proved that the wind is blowing against the BJP in the country.  She said that now the countdown of BJP has started in the country, and in 2024, the popular government of Congress would be formed at the center.
