Spiritual Awakening : The Cure for the Primal Disease
On the occasion of ‘International Yoga Day’, Sant Nirankari Mission enthusiastically organized Yoga Day in open spaces and parks from 6.00 am on Friday, 21 June in various branches of Sant Nirankari Mission established all over India under the guidance of local yoga instructors.
In the same sequence, Shimla’s Zonal Incharge Mahatma Captain NPS Bhullar Ji informed that Yoga Day was also organized today in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Shimla, in which the respected coordinator and yoga instructor Mahatma Kartar Singh Ji, who came from Malout (Punjab), explained the methods of yoga and also got about 25 to 30 Mahatmas participating in the Yoga Day to practice yoga.
The theme of ‘International Yoga Day’ given by the United Nations this year is ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment’ which is undoubtedly the need of the hour. Sant Nirankari Mission is also trying to make women capable by implementing many welfare schemes for women empowerment from time to time, which mainly include sewing and embroidery center, beautician course, tuition center etc.
The social welfare in-charge of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Shri Joginder Sukhija informed that since the year 2015, the social wing of Sant Nirankari Mission, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has been organizing the ‘Yoga Day’ program. As a part of this series, this year too, the ‘International Yoga Day’ program was organized on a grand scale in cities of almost every province of India with great enthusiasm.
Yoga is an ancient Indian method through which spiritual, physical, mental and spiritual health is balanced. With the regular practice of yoga, one can live a stress-free life.
Yoga has a special significance in women empowerment. In the present times, where women are making a significant contribution in domestic life and work; Yoga is an essential activity in their busy life which helps them to fulfill all their responsibilities to the fullest.
Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj too, in her thoughts, while giving divine guidance to adopt ‘healthy mind and easy life’, has explained that we have to keep our body fit and healthy, considering it a priceless gift of Nirankar God.
Therefore, the objective of such health programs is to live a healthy life in this busy life by paying more attention to our health and making it better and excellent.
