One charred in house fire causing heavy loss to property

One person charred to death in a devastating fire broke out at Khoptwari village under Chirgaon Tehsil of Rohru subdivision in the district last nine.
State Disaster Management Authority spokesperson Sudesh Mokata said that fire broke out at 2200 hrs on Saturday night in a house. 
A fire tender from Rohru and the Police rescue party rushed to the spot immediately to control the fire.
The highly inflammable wooden carving was quickly reduced to ash and one person burnt down in the mishap, the body of the deceased has been  recovered from the gutted house. The deceased have been identifiedas Rajdev son of Kawar Singh. 
The fire gutted property tunes to Rs 10 lakh in the mishap. The district Administration  handed over Rs 20,000 as immediate relief to the affected family which rendered them homeless. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
This is second death in the house fire in last one week in the district, he added
