CM Sukhu’s Mother donated Rs. 50,000 towards Aapda Rahat Kosh

In a heart-warming gesture of solidarity in the hour of calamity, Sansar Devi, the mother of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has made a contribution of Rs. 50,000 towards the Aapda Rahat Kosh.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “People from all walks of life are coming forward to donate generously and their selfless contributions will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in aiding those affected by disasters and calamities across the State. These donations will go a long way in providing relief and assistance to those grappling with the aftermath of natural calamities. So far, more than Rs. 180 crore has been received in the Aapda Rahat Kosh and I am deeply thankful to all the individuals, government employees, various organizations and all the states who have contributed to this fund.”

Chief Minister has himself recently donated a substantial sum of Rs. 51 lakh from his personal savings to bolster the relief endeavors in the State.
