Junga got first position in football and Sarahan in basketball

A four-day district-level under-14 athletics and cultural competition was concluded at Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Junga. In which about 800 children from different schools in the district participated. In this four-day competition, competitions in handball, hockey, basketball, football, athletics and cultural programs were organized.
Junga School got first position in the football boys’ competition and second position in hockey. Similarly, in basketball, SPS Sarahan stood first and Government Senior Secondary School Dopda stood second. In wrestling, Mundu of Government Senior Secondary School, Deha Block stood first and Sunni stood second. Government Senior Secondary School, Rohru secured first position in boxing and athletics. Mashobra block stood first in the march past. In the debate competition, High School Kharot stood first and Matiana stood second. Rohar in solo singing, group singing, and classical and light music, and MPS Mashobra stood first in folk dance. Zilla Parishad member Santosh Sharma presided over the closing ceremony and distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up.
School Principal Suman Chandel, in her welcome speech, expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries for their cooperation in managing the district-level sports competition. Told that in this four-day competition, handball, hockey, basketball, football, athletics, and cultural competitions were conducted.
On this occasion, ADPO Neera Kalthaik, Sports Incharge Nandlal Sharma, Yashveer Chauhan, Kaushalya Verma, and Physical Teachers Association President Lalit Chauhan were present. Naresh Sharma successfully operated the stage. On this occasion, a colorful cultural program was presented by the children.
