A Dhaba owner booked in Himachal secretariat clerk paper leak case 

A Dhaba owner of Pakka Bharoh of Hamirpur district was booked for a paper leak case of state secretariat clerk examinations by the State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau Hamirpur today.

A spokesperson of SV&ACB Shimla informed that an FIR was registered today under sections 420 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code against Sohan Singh son of Sukhdev, village and post office Dhundla, Tehsil Bangana, Distt. Una. According to the Agency, the accused is the owner of a Dhaba situated at Pakka Bharoh, Hamirpur. The FIR was registered in Police Station State Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau Hamirpur. 

The FIR pertains to the leakage of the question paper of H.P. Secretariat Clerk Post (Code 962), held in the month of April 2022. The advertisement for 82 seats in the said exam was published on May 24, 2022, and the written exam was held on September 18, 2022. The result of the written exam was declared on October 21, 2022. 

A total of 57710 candidates appeared in the written exam, out of them 897 candidates had passed the written exam. Further 265 candidates had been shortlisted after a typing skill test. After documentation, a list of 82 candidates had been prepared. The final result of this exam was yet to be declared.
