Under PM Surya Yojana, electricity bills of households will be made free and the excess electricity will be purchased by the government. Ujjwala gas connections have been given to 10 crore women of the country. 80 crore people of the country, including 11 lakh people of Himachal, are being given free ration under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, as a result of which 25 crore people of the country have come above the poverty line. 12 crore toilets have been built in the country under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Under Jal Jeevan Yojana, 11 crore people in the country are getting tap water. 40 percent of India’s population i.e. about 50 crore people have been given insurance for free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Honorable Prime Minister has resolved that after becoming Prime Minister for the third time, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to people of all sections and communities above 70 years of age.

Shri Nadda said that today development is taking place in every aspect in Himachal and the country.
