Women trained on livelihood earning in a five-day training camp at Dhali Panchayat by State Rural Development Institute

With the aim of making women self-reliant, a five-day training camp being run at Dhali Panchayat Headquarters, courtesy of State Rural Development Institute, Craignano, concluded on Friday, in which 28 women of Mashobra block were trained. The title of this program is earning livelihood through the creation of natural resources. Block Development Officer Mashobra Ankit Kotia participated as the chief guest.
Dr. Pravesh Kumar, a faculty member of the institute, said that this training will not only provide livelihood to the local people but will also be helpful in reducing the ill effects of climate change. Told that training is an important link for the promotion and benefits of various programs run by the government to reach the common people. How to link training with implementation on the ground remains a challenge. Livelihood earning in rural areas is an important issue in today’s context.
Dr. Sharma said that most of the cases of fire are reported in Chil forests, the products made from these Chil leaves will not only become a medium of livelihood for the local people for their better life but will also reduce the chances of fire in the forest. do. Dhali Panchayat head Rama Devi expressed gratitude for the training being given to women and urged them to organize such camps in the future.
Ishu Thakur, the resource person associated with this program, talked about connecting these products with the market in the future so that these women can be made self-reliant. In the training program, women Hemavati and Bhima Bharti, previously trained by the institute, were included as master trainers.
