Suresh Kashyap met Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, demands connectivity for Himachal
BJP President and MP Suresh Kashyap met Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav in Delhi to connect Shimla, Paonta Sahib, and Kala Amb Industrial Area with Jagadhri Railway.
Kashyap told the minister that this area of Shimla parliamentary constituency is Asia’s biggest pharmaceutical hub and it is not yet connected by rail service.
For this a survey was conducted earlier also and the Union Minister has assured to connect this area with rail service on top priority.
Apart from this, Suresh Kashyap also asked the Union Minister to restore the Kalka-Shimla train service, which is disrupted due to heavy rains and the track has been damaged at many places.
Heritage track should be restored on top priority, this will give a boost to tourism.
The Union Minister assured to start the train service at the earliest.
