Paragliding to pause for two months in Bir Billing Kangra
Tourists will no longer be able to enjoy paragliding for 2 months in Bir Billing, Kangra, Himachal. The administration has banned paragliding due to the monsoon season. There will be no paragliding in Bir Billing till September 15. Salim Azam, chairman of SADA and SDM of Baijnath, said that due to the unfavorable weather in the monsoon season, both solo and tandem flights in Billing have been banned for two months from July 15 to September 15. He said that the administration does not want the life of any tourist or pilot to be in danger during the monsoon season. Please note that every year there is a ban on flights in Billing during the rainy season. As soon as the rain ends, the season of flights starts in Billing. The SDM said that although no pilot flies in this area for 2 months, yet the flights in this area will be closely monitored. As soon as paragliding is banned, the surrounding areas including Billing Valley also look deserted. Local businesses including taxi drivers are also affected here for two months.
