Student class competition of Mashobra section concluded in Janedghat

The sports competition of under-14 students of the Mashombara section concluded at Government Senior Secondary School Janedghat on Friday. In which the title of volleyball was won by High School Tikkar by defeating MPS Mashobra in the final. Similarly, in Kabaddi MPS Mashobra and Senior Secondary School Neen in Khokho and Senior Secondary School Baldenya in Badminton got the first position. In this three-day sports competition, 460 students of 34 senior secondary, high, and middle schools of Mashobra block and about 80 physical teachers participated.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up. In his address, he said that sports are very important in student life, due to which there is the mental, intellectual, and physical development of children, while there is a sense of discipline, competition, and self-confidence in children, which is meaningful in achieving the life goal of children. Earlier, Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta welcomed the chief guest and gave detailed information about the organization of sports activities. He expressed gratitude to the local people and staff for organizing the sports competition well.
On this occasion, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school including local head Swaroop Thakur, deputy head Chatar Singh Dhiman, SMC head Mahesh Dutt Sharma, sports in-charge Nandlal, assistant sports in-charge Rupendra Singh, Roopram, Kesar Singh were present.
