Several programs were organized across the state today on the birth anniversary of the Late Virbhadra Singh, the six-time Chief Minister of the state and the architect of modern Himachal. In all the blocks of the state, party leaders, office bearers and workers went to blood donation camps, and health check-up camps as well as distributed fruits to the patients in the memory of late Virbhadra Singh. Today was celebrated as Vikas Divas.
The state-level program was organized at State Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhavan. In this, a large number of party leaders, office bearers, workers, and supporters paid their respects in his photograph remembering Late Virbhadra Singh. During this folk singers sang bhajans.
Expressing gratitude to all the people present in the meeting, State Congress President MP Pratibha Singh said that even though Virbhadra Singh is no longer with us, his guidance and blessings will always remain with the people of the state. His development work will always inspire us to move the state forward. He said that celebrating this day as Vikas Diwas is a true tribute to him.
