Jairam Thakur celebrating house fire: Chandra Kumar
Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar has said that Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and other BJP leaders are busy celebrating the fire in the house. Jairam Thakur is welcoming the rebels while BJP leaders, angry with his entry, have rebelled. He said that Jairam Thakur is ignoring the fire in the house out of greed for the Chief Minister’s chair. In the history of Himachal Pradesh, people will remember Jairam Thakur as greedy for power, because out of greed he hatched a conspiracy to topple an elected government. The leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party themselves conspired to destabilize the state government by using money power, which has failed. He said that the popular government in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh is working with dedication for public welfare. The people of the state will definitely answer the BJP leaders for their greed. The people of the state do not accept opportunistic and money-power politics at any cost.
Chandra Kumar said that by giving tickets to the rebels, the entire conspiracy of BJP has come to the fore before the public. Now people have come to know why the BJP leader accommodated the rebels in expensive five star hotels, why he took them on chartered plane and helicopter tours and why he spent crores of rupees on them for a month. Today the rebels are standing with the BJP which is anti-youth, anti-women and anti-Himachal.
The Agriculture Minister said that the present state government restored the old pension for the employees in just one and a quarter year’s tenure. Plans were made and implemented for women, orphan children and every section of the society. In Himachal Pradesh, milk purchase price increased only by Rs 18 in 30 years, while the present state government made a historic increase of cow milk by Rs 13 to the minimum support price of Rs 45, while the purchase price of buffalo milk was increased to Rs 55 per liter. . Along with this, MNREGA wages have been increased by Rs 60 and the minimum support price of wheat of natural farming has been fixed at Rs 40 and the rate of maize at Rs 30. He said that the state government has made many efforts in its short tenure so far to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant. Whereas the previous BJP government misused the government treasury for its luxuries and pushed Himachal Pradesh into the quagmire of debt. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is trying with full force to bring the economy of Himachal Pradesh back on track and due to his honest efforts, the state exchequer has increased by Rs 2200 crore.
