School to remain off till Sep 4 in Himachal

Himachal Pradesh Government today decided to keep all school off and cut down social, religious, Poltical, academic and cultural congratulations and gathering to fifty percent of the venue capacity till September 4, 2021.
In notification issued by the state disaster management authority said that decision taken taking note of the current situation of COVID-19 In the Stale.
” It is observed that though the number of COVID-19 patients. daily mortality and positivity rate is declining and the situation is improving, however certain precautions and restrictions are still requited to contain the spread and resurgence of the pandemic. ” notification mentioned.
All schools shall continue to remain close, except residential schools further up to Sep 04, 2021 Teaching and non-teaching staff shall continue to attend the school for residential schools SOPs developed by the Department of Education would be followed to contain the spread of COVID-19.
 All social, academic, entertainment,  cultural, political, religious and other congregations are permitted up to 50 per cent of the capacity in Indoor built up or covered areas as well as in open spaces. 
Those restrictions are subject to strict observance of COVID-19 appropriate behavioural norms arid social distancing. 
Wearing of face masks, maintaining social distancing, provision of thermal scanning and use of hand wash or sanitizer would he mandatory at all such venues.
Any person violating these measures and not following COVID appropriate behavior would be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides entailing legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable, notification issued said.
 This order would come into effect immediately and shall remain in force till further orders.
