Law students visited the District and Sessions Court and learned the intricacies of the Court
The School of Law of Lingayas Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University) took the students on a court visit to the District and Sessions Court, Faridabad to observe the judicial process. Head of the School Professor (Dr.) Monica Rastogi said that during this time the students observed the process of various courts including District and Sessions Court, Family Court, and Mediation Centre. The objective of this program was to make the students aware of the judicial process and develop practical knowledge. The students took guidance about advocacy from District and Sessions Judge Sandeep Garg and during this, the District and Sessions Judge discussed in detail the work of the judge and the police in the investigation. The students also closely observed the case going on in the court visited the departments related to the court premises and observed how the case file is prepared. During this, the students also met the President of the District Advocates Association and received guidance. This program was organized by University Chancellor Dr. Picheshwar Gadde and Pro-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) M.K. Could be made successful due to Sony’s inspiration. Registrar Prem Kumar Salwan and Academic Dean Professor (Dr.) Seema Bushra congratulated all the staff members of the department on the success of this program. The contribution of Dr. Anjali Dixit, Shilpa Sharma, Shivendra Kumar, Vivek Gupta, Ruchi Kaushik, Mohini Taneja, Sweksha Bhadauria, Dr. Suresh Nagar, and Durgendra Singh Rajput was important in making this program successful.
