NSS unit at Govt Excellent Senior Secondary School Chiyog planted one hundred cedar trees

Tree plantation was organized with the courtesy of the NSS unit at Government Excellent Senior Secondary School Chiyog. Which was inaugurated by Principal Sandeep Sharma by planting a cedar sapling. In this tree plantation drive, more than one hundred saplings including deodar, pine, bottle brush, and timber were planted by NSS volunteers and students of the Eco club in Chiyog school and the surrounding area. On this occasion, in the memory of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Ex-serviceman Laik Ram Chandel was honored for his meritorious services in the army. The principal informed the children in detail about the benefits of forests and the protection of the environment. NSS program officers Rakesh Thakur, Sonali Thakur, Savita Chauhan, Babita Sharma, and other teachers and non-teachers and school children participated in this Van Mahotsav.
