College students planted trees in the Koti forest under the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign

Under the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign run by the Government of India, Vanmahotsav was celebrated on Thursday with the courtesy of the NSS unit and Eco Club of Government Degree College Chail Koti. Under this campaign, saplings of deodar and other species were planted by the students of the college in the Koti forest. This campaign was dedicated to the brave soldiers and freedom fighters of the country. NSS Program Officer Dr. Sushil Kumar informed that the students planted Deodar saplings in the forest while singing patriotic songs with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Principal Dr. Ajay Khurana flagged off the volunteers and sent them off from the college. In the campaign, along with the volunteers, Dr. Subhash Kapta, Dr. Kamini Shandil, Prof. Indra Prakash Negi, Dr. Devendra Sharma, Prof. Harinder Thakur, Prof. Bobija Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Yamuna Dutt Sharma and the employees of the Forest Department celebrated the Van Mahotsav by planting saplings.
