NABARD sanctioned 10273.82 Lakh for 25 rural roads : Vikramaditya

Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has informed that under RIDF, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, NABARD has sanctioned Rs 10273.82 lakh for 25 rural road projects in the state. He has said that work on these road projects will be finalized and started within the next 30 days.

Vikramaditya Singh said in a statement here today that the state government is serious about the construction and maintenance of roads in rural areas. He said that rural development and strengthening its economy is also his main goal. For this, special attention will be paid to road construction and their maintenance in the state.

Vikramaditya Singh said that the state would establish new dimensions of development under the guidance of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He said that every possible effort will be made to ensure that the road and other development works are completed within the stipulated time. He has expressed gratitude to the officers of NABARD, especially Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, for the construction of these roads, due to whose efforts this amount has been sanctioned for the construction of 25 rural roads.
