Medical camp organized in Degree College Chail Koti – Health checkup of 150 students and teachers
A medical camp was organized on Monday under the joint aegis of the Red Ribbon Club and the NSS unit at Degree College, Chail Koti. In which the health of about 150 people was examined. In this camp, Dr. Gunjan Joshi, Dr. Santa Vohra, and Shama, who came from Basant Eye Clinic, Shimla, examined the eyes of the students and teachers of the college. Eye experts gave information about how to take care of eyes. Apart from this, dentists Dr. Meghna and Dr. Jatin who came from Meghna Dental Clinic, Shimla, examined the teeth of all the students and teachers. Medicines were also distributed free on this occasion.
College Principal Dr. Manisha Kohli said that there is a lot of lack of awareness regarding health among the children of rural areas. He said that such medical camps should be organized in the future so that the health of the children can be checked from time to time. Red Ribbon Club coordinator Dr. Kamini Shandil and NSS program officer Dr. Sushil Mehta thanked the doctors who came to the health camp. He said that such camps organized in educational institutions prove to be very beneficial.
