BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal told that Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda will visit Himachal Pradesh tomorrow, August 20, 2023, Sunday, to take stock of the heavy losses caused by heavy rains, floods, and landslides in Himachal Pradesh. Will remain He will also meet the family members of those who lost their lives in this natural tragedy. He will also visit the ancient Shiv Temple site destroyed due to heavy rains at Summerhill, Shimla, and discuss relief, rescue, and rehabilitation work with the local administration in Shimla and Bilaspur.
Bindal told that Nadda will reach Paonta Sahib (Sirmour) at 09:00 am tomorrow. After this, he will reach village Sirmauri Tal and Kachhi Dhang by road at 09:35 am, where he will take stock of the situation arising out of the cloudburst in the Sirmauri Tal area and will also meet the family members of 5 members who died in this accident.
The National President will reach Shimla’s Shivbawdi, Summerhill at 11:20 am where he will take stock of the ancient Shiva temple site destroyed by heavy rains. It may be known that the bodies of 16 people have been recovered so far in this accident. Relief and rescue work is still going on. After this, he will inspect the damaged houses in the Krishna Nagar area from the Shimla bypass.
Nadda will discuss with the local administration about relief and rescue operations at Hotel Peterhof, Shimla at 01:00 pm. 3:15 PM BJP National President will reach Circuit House, Bilaspur.
