Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal have said that Jairam Thakur is the accidental Chief Minister in the history of Himachal Pradesh. After becoming the Chief Minister, he discriminated not only against Hamirpur district but also against Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency and did not go to Prem Kumar Dhumal’s house even once to meet him. Today, while being in opposition, Jairam Thakur is roaming around Sameerpur and he is remembering Hamirpur along with Prem Kumar Dhumal. Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal said that the entry of tainted Congress MLAs into the BJP is a deliberate move by Jairam Thakur to end the Dhumal group. Jairam Thakur is busy eliminating the leaders of the old BJP one by one.
Both the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries said that during his tenure as Chief Minister, Jairam Thakur has proved to be the most unsuccessful Chief Minister in the history of Himachal Pradesh. He neither had any vision for the state nor did he do anything for the people of the state in five years. He said that Jairam Thakur, who talked about the market today, should tell what his contribution is in the development of the district market. The people of Mandi district have not forgotten that they have developed only the Seraj assembly constituency and ignored other assembly constituencies of Mandi district.
Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal said that the present Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is a visionary leader. Based on long struggle and hard work, he has become the Chief Minister. He has a vision to make Himachal Pradesh pollution-free and self-reliant, to make orphan children, helpless people, and widows as well as every deprived section resourceful, for which the present state government has taken many steps during the last one-and-a-quarter-year tenure.
