There should not be any laxity in Shimla Lok Sabha elections: Anirudh
Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh has said that there should not be any laxity in Shimla Lok Sabha elections. He has said that just as they have sent him to the Assembly by making him win with a huge vote, in the same way, Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri has to be sent to the Lok Sabha by making him win with a huge vote. He has said that Vinod Sultanpuri should get a huge lead from the Kusampati block.
Today, while addressing the party officials and workers of Kusampati Block at the State Congress Office Rajiv Bhawan, Anirudh Rana said that the State Congress Government has fulfilled the guarantee of OPS of the employees and is also fulfilling the guarantee of Rs 1500 to the women. He said that this scheme has been started from Lahaul Spiti and the process of filling its forms by women is going on in the rest of the state. He also asked the party officials to cooperate with the eligible women in filling the forms.
Rana said that Kusampati block is progressing rapidly in terms of development today. Expressing his gratitude for their support for this, he said that BJP tried to destabilize the Congress government of the state through a conspiracy but it could not succeed in it. He said that people should also be informed about the conspiracy of BJP that how they brought six Congress MLAs to their side with the help of money power. He said that the Congress government has absolute majority in the state and there is no threat of any kind to the government.
Anirudh Singh Rana said that Congress will win in four Lok Sabha and six assembly by-elections. He said that public opinion in the state is with Congress and no one can steal it. While instructing all the Panchayat heads and all the elected public representatives to work in their respective booths, he said that whatever responsibility has been given to them regarding the Lok Sabha elections, they will have to fulfill it with full honesty.
