Himachal Government imposes complete ban on transfer from tomorrow

Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to impose a complete ban on transfers with effect tomorrow November 21, 2023.

Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena said in a letter issued to all concerned secretaries of all departments, HODs, Divisional and Deputy Commissioner here today.

He said that such proposal of transfers of government employees might be processed and implemented, which are strictly in consonance with circumstances specifically provided under Comprehensive Guiding Principles and with the approval of the Chief Minister.

In October the government opened the ban on the transfer which would be now reimposed, the top bureaucrat informed.
