Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla honored High Flyers of Himachal

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that various institutions and individuals are working diligently to take the Nation and the State forward on the path of progress. Their significant contributions to society serve as an inspiration for others, setting a commendable example of excellence through their performance.

He was addressing in a coffee table book (High Flyers of Himachal Pradesh 2024) releasing ceremony as a Chief Guest organized by Amar Ujala Newspaper here today.

Expressing contentment, he remarked that the program reflects the success of extraordinary individuals who have dedicated their lives to the progress of this hill state. He congratulated these high flyers, whose achievements have been documented in the coffee table book, representing diverse backgrounds including academics, business, entrepreneurship, social work, and youth, thereby embodying the spirit of Himachal.

The Governor emphasized that “Himachal Pradesh High Flyers 2024” is a testament to the human potential that propels our state forward, serving as a source of inspiration for future generations and calling them role models for society.

“In today’s era of social media, print media holds lasting value, which keeps readers connected to newspapers,” remarked Shri Shukla. Congratulating the organizers, he praised them for creating a platform that celebrates individuals and institutions making remarkable contributions to society, fostering a sense of unity. He applauded the high flyers for providing employment opportunities through their start-ups, highlighting the significance of such programs in offering opportunities, encouragement and boosting the enthusiasm of people.

During the event, the Governor released the coffee table booklet “High Flyers of Himachal Pradesh 2024” and honored 35 high flyers of Himachal Pradesh.

Earlier, State Bureau Chief of Amar Ujala, Suresh Shandilya welcomed the Governor and provided insights into the coffee table book and the program. The news editor of the newspaper Raman Singh delivered a vote of thanks.

Unit Head, Amar Ujala Shimla Dhiraj Roman and other prominent figures were also present on the occasion.
