Congress state president fully involved in closing Sardar Patel University: Bindal
Expressing a strong reaction on the decision of the state government to transfer 80 colleges from Sardar Patel University, Mandi, Shimla to another university, BJP State President, Dr. Rajeev Bindal, said that this decision is extremely painful and it is very painful for Himachal Pradesh and especially This is injustice and deception to the people of Mandi area.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the university was opened by the former BJP government in the Mandi area. Thousands of students benefited from the opening of this university. There was a reduction in the expenses students had to pay for their degree or any other work at another university and the number of students receiving university level education increased. The area of Mandi is spread far and wide, not only Mandi but also Kullu and Lahaul Spiti districts are associated with Sardar Patel University and in such a situation it is unfortunate that 80 colleges have been removed from Sardar Patel University.
Dr. Bindal said that in fact, the present Congress government wants to close this university and before closing it, efforts are being made to hollow it out by removing the colleges affiliated to this university.
Bharatiya Janata Party also alleged that because 9 out of 10 MLAs from Mandi have won on the election symbol of Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress Party is busy punishing the people of Mandi.
BJP has also asked Congress state president and Mandi MP Pratibha Singh that Sardar Patel University is a part of her parliamentary constituency 80 colleges have been removed from this university and there is a conspiracy to close this university by her Congress government. Why is Pratibha Singh silent on this?
The BJP president also alleged that the state president of Congress is fully involved in the closure of this university.
The Congress government that came to power 9 months ago has only done the work of closing institutions. This government has already closed 1500 institutions. The closure of hospitals, PHCs, CHGs, Patwar circles, and schools is painful. The Congress government is trying to play with the interests of the people of this area and in this connection, a conspiracy is being hatched to close Sardar Patel University. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party will not accept this under any circumstances.
