Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani gets Bharat Ratna
BJP state president Dr. Rajeev Bindal, state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur congratulated senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani on receiving Bharat Ratna.
State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that it is a matter of pride for us, for our country, that revered Shri Lal Krishna Advani will be honored with Bharat Ratna.
He said that he was the person who gave a new direction to Indian politics. It is a matter of good fortune for all of us, from Bharatiya Jana Sangh to Lal Krishna Advani, who promoted Bharatiya Janata Party, to receive Bharat Ratna. Wherever we congratulate him, he congratulates India and expresses immense gratitude to Narendra Bhai Modi.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that the decision to award Bharat Ratna to revered Lal Krishna Advani ji, an inspiration for all of us and a senior leader of the country, has brought great joy and happiness. He is a symbol of purity, dedication and determination in politics. The significant contribution that Advani ji has made to the development and nation building of the country in various roles during his long public life is unforgettable and inspiring. He has also played an important role in keeping the unity and integrity of India intact. As a national leader, he has strengthened the country and democracy through his scholarship, parliamentary and administrative abilities. It is a matter of joy for every Indian to receive the honor of Bharat Ratna. I thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this decision and congratulate Advaniji.
