BJP upset due to failure of Operation Lotus: Rohit Thakur

Education Minister Rohit Thakur has said that BJP leaders are completely distraught due to the failure of Operation Lots in Himachal Pradesh. Using money power, MLAs were bought from the political market, but the plans of BJP members to become Chief Minister and Minister remained in vain. He said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is the biggest cause of sorrow for the BJP leaders because the present state government has closed all the doors of corruption and closed the shop of their loot.

Rohit Thakur said that Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is the popular Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and has reached the post of Chief Minister from an ordinary family. That is why he is well aware of the pain of the common man and is making plans for the welfare of the people standing in the last row of the society and implementing them on the ground. He said that in a short tenure of just one and a quarter years, the state government created the Mukhyamantri Sukhashraya Yojana for orphan children and now the responsibility of their care legally rests with the government. Not only this, Himachal Pradesh became the first state in the country to guarantee minimum support price on milk. Apart from this, there has been a historic increase in the daily wage of MNREGA by Rs 60, the minimum wage of daily wage earners has been increased to Rs 400, the state government is bearing the expenses of the education of widows’ children up to 27 years of age and assistance of Rs 3 lakh is being provided to widows to build houses. It’s being done. He said that the present state government in its second budget has taken several steps to strengthen the rural economy and the years-old demands of the gardeners have been fulfilled.

The Education Minister said that the state government has fulfilled five of its 10 election guarantees including old pension and Rs 1500 pension to women. He said that the BJP leaders who are demanding an account of their tenure of 1.25 years should give the account of their five years to the public. BJP ran the government for five years only with the help of loans and did not pay any attention to gathering economic resources, due to which Himachal Pradesh became economically miserable. Given its fun and electoral gains, the BJP misused more than Rs 16000 crore of money in the last year of its tenure. He said that as soon as the present state government assumed power, it took several steps towards gathering economic resources, as a result of which the economy of Himachal Pradesh has improved by 20 percent in just one year and earned a revenue of Rs 2200 crore in the same year. He said that the support price of naturally grown wheat has been fixed at Rs 40 per kg and for maize at Rs 30 per kg.

Rohit Thakur said that the Congress party is going to the elections on the achievements of the state government in the last one and a quarter years and is presenting its report card before the public. He said that the people of the state will give a befitting reply to the politics of lies and horse-trading in the elections and will make the Congress Party candidates victorious with huge votes in the Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections.
