Arki assembly constituency by-election schedule announced

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari has declared the program of bye-election for 50-Arki constituency of Solan district as per the directions of the Election Commission of India
 According to this schedule, the notification for the 50-Arki assembly constituency will be issued on 1st October, 2021. The last date for filing nominations has been fixed as October 08, 2021.  
Scrutiny of nomination papers would be held on October 11.  The last date for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed as October 13, 2021.
 Voting will be held on 30 October 2021 and counting will be done on 02 November 2021.  The entire election process will be completed by November 05, 2021. Kritika Kulhari said that there are a total of 92555 voters till September 27, 2021 for the bye-election in the 50-Arki assembly constituency.  Of these, 47163 are male voters and 45392 are female voters.  There are 719 service voters out of the total electorate.
 Of these, 700 are male voters and 19 are female voters.  Photo voter lists for by-elections have been prepared as per the qualifying date of January 1, 2021.
 He said that there are a total of 2556 general voters in the age group of 18 to 19 years in the assembly constituency.  Of these, 1385 are male voters and 1171 are female voters.
 The District Election Officer said that the voter lists of 50-Arki assembly constituency are available on the website www.ceohimachal.nic.in on a link named Electoral Rolls (pdf files).
 He urged the voters of Arki constituency to verify their name in the voter list.  Voter lists are available with the office of the District Election Officer as well as with the booth level officers including the Office of the Assistant Returning Officer (Sub Divisional Officer Office Arki). Kritika Kulhari said that a control room has been set up at District Election Office, Solan for smooth control of bye-elections.

 A total of 154 polling stations have been set up for voting in the 50-Arki assembly constituency.  
Of these, there are 22auxiliary polling stations.  The total number of polling stations in urban areas are 03, urban auxiliary polling stations 02, rural polling stations 129 and rural auxiliary polling stations 20.
 The District Election Officer said that with the announcement of the election schedule on September 28, 2021 as per the schedule set by the Election Commission, the model code of conduct has come into force in the entire Solan district.
