Duo sentence in murder cases in Himachal
Himachal Pradesh Police said today that Special courts Sirmour and Solan sentenced the accused to life imprisonment last week for two different cases of Murder.
The spokesperson of the state police said in a press release issued here today that Special Courts Sirmour awarded Rigorous imprisonment for life and a fine of Rs 5,000/- was imposed on accused Vishal Thapa S/o Late Shri Jabbar Maan R/o Kohalapur PO
&Tehsil Salyan, Nepal at presnt after holding guilty on August 3 2023 in case of January 3, 2019, registered under section 302, 307 IPC registered at Police Station Rajgarh, District Sirmour.
In this case, the charge sheet was filed in the District and Session Court, Nahan on 30.03.2019. The case was decided by the court in 04 years and 05 months.
The Spl court Solan also on July 31, 2023, sentenced accused Mani Ram S/o Shri Sagar Dass R/o VPO Pattabraury, Tehsil & District Solan for life imprisonment and fine Rs 10,000/- U/S 302 IPC & Simple imprisonment for one year U/S 324 IPC in judgment pronounced on October 25, 2020.
In the murder case, FIR was registered on October 25, 2020, under sections 302, 324, 323, and 34 IPC registered at Police Station Dharampur. The case was decided by the court in 02 years and 06 months.
