Yashpal Tanaik today applied for a ticket from the Shimla Constituency

Congress leader State Congress Committee general secretary Yashpal Tanaik, who is associated with Kupvi of Chaupal, today applied for a ticket from the Shimla parliamentary seat along with his supporters. He submitted his application to State Congress Committee Office Secretary Gulab Singh Thakur.

During this, while addressing the media, Yashpal Tanaik expressed his commitment towards the development of the Shimla parliamentary constituency in his priorities and said that till now no party worker belonging to the Chaupal area has had any opportunity to go to the Parliament. He said that if the Congress high command gave him the party ticket, he would achieve a landslide victory in this seat. He said that the Chaupal area is adjacent to Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur and these areas also have strong mutual relations.
Yashpal Tanaik said that this time he should get a chance from the party ticket from the Shimla parliamentary constituency from the Chaupal area and the feeling of the people of the Chaupal area is also that this time the party candidate should be declared from this area only. He said that for the last several years, he has been working as a hard worker to strengthen the party. Considering his political experience and his contribution to social service, he should get a chance to enter Parliament this time.
Yashpal Tanaik has served in Congress for 30 years and has served in many posts.
For 30 years, he has served on many posts from the frontal organization of the Congress Party to the State Congress Committee.
Was an active worker of NSUI in college from 1994 to 1997. He was the General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Student Association at Panjab University from 1997 to 2000. From 2004 to 2006, he was made the General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress. Whereas from 2007 to 2010, he was the Secretary of the District Congress Committee, Shimla Rural. He was the President of Chaupal Block of Himachal Pradesh Congress SC Department. His tenure was from 2008 to 2010. Whereas from 2010 to 2013, Rajiv Gandhi was the President of the Panchayati Raj Organization District Shimla. He has also served as the General Secretary of District Congress Committee Shimla Rural from 2013 to 2016. He has also served in the post of Vice Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Congress SC Department. He became the Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee from 2020 to 21. From 2022 till now he has been working on the post of General Secretary.
