Tribute paid to Himachal producer Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar on his 44th death anniversary

Today the state is celebrating the 44th death anniversary of Himachal creator and first Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar. On this occasion, remembering the work and contribution of Dr. Parmar, flowers were paid to his photograph at the party headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla.
On this day in 1981, Dr. Y. S. Parmar had bid goodbye to the world. Dr. Y. S. Parmar led the state many times. Due to his visionary thinking, Himachal was separated from Maha Punjab in 1948 and became the 18th hill state of the country.
Dr. Y. S. It was the result of Parmar’s visionary thinking that keeping in mind the problems and basic needs of the people living in the hilly areas, it got the status of a full state on January 25, 1971. The then Prime Minister of the country Late. Mrs. Indira Gandhi had declared full statehood from the ridge grounds on 25 January 1971.
The foundation of development in various fields including horticulture, agriculture, education and health in the state today is the result of the visionary thinking of Dr. Y. Parmar. Many Chief Ministers of Congress contributed in carrying forward the dreams of Dr. Parmar, due to whose tireless efforts today the state is writing the story of development in every field.

On this occasion, State Education Minister Rohit Thakur paid tribute to Himachal producer Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar at the party office Rajiv Bhawan. He said that YS Parmar’s incredible contribution in the formation of Himachal and in taking the state forward in development will be remembered by the people of Himachal for ages. We consider such truly honest, loyal and clean image leaders as sources of inspiration and pay our full respect to them.

On this occasion, party general secretary Yashwant Chhajta, remembering Dr. Parmar, said that Dr. Parmar has made a huge contribution in the development of Himachal, which can never be forgotten. He said that the first Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Parmar was a visionary leader of politics and simplicity who played a very important role in getting Himachal the status of a full state. Dr. Parmar was a leader not only of the state but also of the country who lived in the hearts of the people. He said that this state will always be indebted to him.
On this occasion, tributes were paid to him at many places including all the district headquarters of the state.
