Snow & Torrential rain in the sky – Lahaul-Spiti snowscapes now trembling with earthquake
Everything is not normal in the life of the Tribal people of Lahaul-Spiti these days as it has witnessed unprecedented snowfall following Avalanches and torrential rain.
According to Meteorological Department the snowscapes trembling as two tremors hit last night as the district was hit by two major tremors jolting the hills for a few seconds.
The magnitude of tremors was 3.2 and 3.1 and was felt at 2130hrs and 2207 hrs on Wednesday. The epicenter was located at latitude 32.72 and Longitude 76.60 and 10 km deep.
No loss of property and life was reported in the mishap felt by people in the district.
