Pratibha Singh said that there has been a huge loss of life and property due to heavy rains and floods in the state. She said that the restoration of roads in apple-dominated areas is the biggest challenge that has to be overcome in time. She has said that if the Mandi Kullu road is not restored soon, it may adversely affect the transportation of fruits, apples, and vegetables along with acute shortage of essential commodities like LPG, petrol, diesel, and food grains in this area.
