Chief Medical Officer Dr Rakesh Pratap, while giving information here today, said that as soon as the weather changes, there is a possibility of diseases like jaundice, diarrhea (diarrhea, vomiting and gastroenteritis). We can get rid of these diseases by being cautious and having the right information.
Dr Rakesh Pratap said that the risk of diarrhea, gastroenteritis, jaundice and typhoid increases due to the consumption of contaminated food and contaminated beverages. To avoid these health problems, the Chief Medical Officer appealed to the general public to take full care of personal hygiene and surrounding hygiene. Drink boiled water, always eat fresh food and keep the food covered. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after defecation and before eating and before cooking food. Avoid eating rotten and cut fruits, salads, vegetables and especially take special precautions related to food in weddings and any other function. In case of vomiting or diarrhea, use ORS solution and without wasting time, go to your nearest health center and contact the nearest ASHA worker and health worker. All kinds of health facilities are available free of cost in every government health institution.
