Nadda & Anurag should also lobby with the center for special financial assistance to Himachal: Pratibha

Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has criticized the BJP leaders saying that they are busy baking political bread in the hour of this disaster. She said that all the machinery of the government is engaged in relief and rescue operations.

In a statement, Pratibha Singh termed the statement of the former chief minister as completely baseless and misleading the people, accusing the government of failing in relief and rescue operations. She has said that the state government is engaged in relief and rescue operations. All ministers, Congress MLAs, leaders, and all office bearers including the Chief Minister are working day and night in relief work in their respective areas.

Pratibha Singh has said that she herself is visiting the flood-affected areas, meeting people and people are satisfied with the relief and rescue operations. She said that the Congress government stands with all the affected people and is helping them in every possible way. So far, more than 60 thousand tourists have been safely evacuated from the flood-affected areas of Kullu, Manali, and Lahaul Valley. Proper arrangements have been made for all the people to stay and eat in the relief camps.

Pratibha Singh has urged the BJP leaders to cooperate with the government in this hour of disaster and demand a special economic package from the BJP government at the Center for Relief and rehabilitation works. She has said that BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Minister Anurag Thakur should also lobby to issue special financial assistance to the state for this disaster. She has said that she herself will go to Delhi and request the Central Government for special financial help to deal with this calamity.
