Monsoon furry continue, ten people die many injured in Himachal

The incessant monsoon rainfall continue since last 48 hours wreaking havoc and causing furry as many as ten people were died and many others injured report of more mishaps and including Chandigarh- Manali-(NH-30 Hindustan Tibet National Highway 123 roads are blocked by landslides, rolling down of boulders and shooting stones in the state.
State Emergency Operation Center Spokespersons said that as many as ten people killed in the monsoon furry and road related mishap today as seven people died in road mishap, two by snake bites and one after falling of pillar on the head. Three people died in Una, one each in Bilaspur, Chamba , Hamirpur Kinnaur, Kullu and Mandi districts . 
Two persons seriously injured on Kalka Shimla NH-5 after landslide and shooting stones from the hill in between Shoghi and Taradevi from the steep hillock. Injured were reported in serious condition and rushed to IGMC. There are report that shooting stone hit light vehicle at Sonu Bangla near Shoghi. Traffic is opened for one lane of vehicle only .
Landside also blocked Hindustan Tibet National Highway between Powari to Kaza in Kinnaur district this evening Zilaparishad Member Hitesh Negi informed the SEOC telephone taht NH-05 has been blocked between Powar to Kaza due to heavy boulder or stones at one kilometer head of Poweri . The Police and Border Road organization Operation Commander68 -RCC Parmod Kumar and police team is on the spot.
Information coming from District Emergency Operation Centre Kullu said that landslide blocked NH-3 near Nehrukund (Manali) under subdivisions Manali restoration work is on. Light vehicles were diverted via old Manali road The Officialsof BRO also reached the spot. 
DEOC Shimla informed that Rai Ghat Kiyartu Road linking Theog washed away after heavy rainfall. . District AdministrationDeployed Himachal Public Works Departments officials to restore the road currently being used for apple transportation.    
A motor rail car also derailed from the track on Kalka Shimla heritage rail line near Barog in Solan district today in whichnine passengers escape unhurt . The movements of train affected for two hours on the rail line which was restored. A boulders comedown from the hill on the track derailed the rail motor car, North Railway officer Joginder Singh told our reporter.    
The incessant rainfall has continued since the last 48 yrs as Jogindernagar in Mandi recorded 90 mm rainfall, Sarkaghat72 mm, Theog in Shimla 70 mm, Nahan in Sirmaur 62.3 mm. Report of heavy rain is coming from Shimla, Solanand other districts.
Nainadevi in Bilaspur had 76.4 mm rainfall till this morning, Jhandutta 60 mm, Palampur in Kangra 46 mm , Sangraha in Sirmaur36 mm and Rajgarh 35 mm.  
Met Office said that Monsoon activity remained large excess in the state during past week expect Chamba’ Kinnuar and Lahaul Spiti was deficient rainfall in Kangra, Mandi, Una, Hamipur, Bilaspur, Solan, Sirmuar Shimla were normal and excess in the Kullu district. 

This monsoon claimed as many as 432 lives so far including 215 in road mishap, 55 by the fall of roof or building 54 in the landslides, 37 due to drowning,  21 by snake bites 11 in the cloudburst and flash flood nine in the electric shock and six by the  fire. The loss to the public and private property to Rs 1108 Cr has been incurred.
